New Horizons Global’s Website is being updated ahead of some exciting news. The world of omega-3 derived food and nutritional ingredients continues to move forward dramatically and so must we.

We have been working hard on the development of a very high quality DHA rich algal omega-3 that is made in Europe. It’s non-marine in nature but offers all the benefits of fish oil derived DHA. It’s sustainable (no fish were harmed or died in its production). We did not have to remove any heavy metals nor PCBs from the DHA rich algal oil. No solvents were used to create it. It comes from microalgae which are a very sustainable vegetable source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). It has not been genetically modified.

It’s approved for use in Europe by EFSA and in the USA it is GRAS notified. It’s made to exacting international quality standards FSSC 22000.

Lastly, it’s far a better tasting ingredient suitable for use in food, beverages, supplements and medical foods.
